Student Work

The following examples of student work demonstrate four levels of achievement: Beginning Steps (0-39%: F), Nearing Proficient (40-69%: F), Proficient (70-89%: C-/B+), and Advanced (90-100%: A-/A+). Several examples are given from a variety of assignments and formats.

*Students: Please refer to Grading Rubrics for detailed instructions and guidance, this list is simply to give examples.

The 3 pictures below are from a timeline project. The examples show the difference between Advanced, Proficient, and Nearing Proficient work. The main difference between these examples lies within the amount of detail provided, along with creativity and neatness.

Nearing Proficient Work

Below is an example of work that is attractive, creative, and accurate, but incomplete.  This foldable earned 8 out of 16 points (Nearing Proficient: 50%: F). Sadly, this foldable may have earned a near perfect score had it been completed.
